Pennapiedimonte is a municipality of approximately 400 inhabitants in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, at 669 m above sea level. on a rocky spur at the foot of the eastern side of the Maiella Mountain. The stone houses arranged in steps are typical and are recognized as a national monument. The Balzolo Belvedere is famous, known as “the Balcony of Abruzzo” from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Avello Valley and up to the sea, all around woods, caves, waterfalls in a lush and wild nature. The town has some shops, bars, restaurants and generally necessary services. Bus connections with neighboring towns and the city of Chieti which is 30 km away. The splendid beaches of the Adriatic Sea are 35 km away, the city of Pescara with the airport is about 50 km away. Just 25 km away is the popular ski center of Passo Lanciano/Maielletta.

Tipico appartamento di 113 mq.l., articolato su più livelli con 2 camere da letto, 2 bagni ed un terrazzo con pergola a breve distanza dal centro storico e dai belvedere panoramici. Attraversando una corte comune e quindi una privata si arriva ad un pianerottolo da cui si può accedere direttamente ad una struttura esterna con terrazzo munito di una pergola ed un sottostante ripostiglio. Sul pianerottolo è presente la porta di ingresso dell’appartamento ed entrando ci si trova subito in una stanza con le pareti in pietra ed il soffitto con volta di mattoni a botte, bel camino e finestre verso valle. Questa prima stanza è stata adibita a cucina e sala da pranzo e la prossimità con il terrazzo esterno la rende anche funzionale all’organizzazione di vita e ristorazione all’aperto. Proseguendo si incontra una camera da letto con voltine di mattoni e parte dei muri lasciati con pietre a vista, quindi un bagno con doccia e tutti i sanitari necessari. Scendendo alcuni gradini si arriva in una grande stanza multifunzionale con finestra panoramica e spazio per una camera da letto ed un angolo studio. Il paese ha alcuni negozi, bar, ristoranti ed i servizi generalmente necessari. Collegamenti autobus con i paesi vicini e la città di Chieti che dista 30 km. Le splendide spiagge del Mare Adriatico sono a 35 km, la città di Pescara con l’ Aeroporto a circa 50 km. A soli 25 km si incontra il frequentato centro sciistico di Passo Lanciano/ Maielletta.
