“Tower house” in stone to be renovated in a panoramic position.
Terraced house to be restored with thick stone masonry, resting on a rocky base and inserted in the context of the terraced houses making up the walls of the Borgo of Castrovalva, in a very panoramic position overlooking the Natural Reserve of the Sagittario Gorges. The building originally had to be on three levels, considering the traces still present at different heights of a fireplace and some niches.
The house, free on two sides, currently consists of a single room with an internal base of 20 square meters (external 30 square meters), a maximum height of about 10 square meters and with some windows; a restructuring with division into three levels is conceivable. The roof has been redone and is single-pitched wood covered with traditional tiles. Current cadastral registration in Cat. C / 6.
At the foot of the house passes the famous hiking trail that starts from the WWF Oasis of the Cavuto River Springs to cross Castrovalva and continue towards the ancient village of Frattura of Scanno.
Castrovalva AQ is a splendid fortified village (Fraction of Anversa degli Abruzzi) considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, built on a long rocky ridge overlooking the Sagittario River Valley. At 865 m. asl has about ten inhabitants permanently resident but much more populated during the summer season. The local stone houses line up along two main streets, interspersed with small squares and terraces with extraordinary views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and dense woods. There is a hotel / restaurant, a bar / shop and some services usually active only on weekends. Castrovalva is known worldwide for a famous 1929 lithograph by the Dutch artist Escher who visited it during a trip to Italy. Going down to the valley, it is possible to reach within a short distance the famous villages of Anversa degli Abruzzi, Villalago and Scanno, equally considered among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Rivers, lakes, natural oases and even ski centers make the area one of the most interesting in central Italy. Highway and Railway Station at about 15 ‘, the city of Pescara with the international airport and the beaches of the Adriatic Sea at about 60’, Rome at 90 ‘.

“Casa Torre” in pietra da ristrutturare in posizione panoramica.
Edificio a schiera da ristrutturare con spessa muratura in pietra, poggiante su base rocciosa ed inserito nel contesto delle case a schiera costituenti la cinta muraria del Borgo di Castrovalva, in posizione molto panoramica dominante la Riserva Naturale delle Gole del Sagittario. La costruzione originariamente doveva essere di tre livelli, considerando le tracce ancora presenti a diverse altezze di un camino ed alcune nicchie.
La casa, libera su due lati, è attualmente costituita da un unico vano con base interna di 20 mq (esterna 30 mq), altezza massima di circa 10 mq e con alcune finestre; è ipotizzabile una ristrutturazione con divisione anche in tre livelli . Il tetto è stato rifatto ed è in legno ad unica falda, coperto da tegole tradizionali. Attuale accatastamento al Catasto Fabbricati in Cat. C/6.
Proprio ai piedi dell’edificio passa il famoso sentiero escursionistico che parte dall’ Oasi WWF delle Sorgenti del Fiume Cavuto per attraversare Castrovalva e proseguire verso l’antico Borgo di Frattura di Scanno.
Castrovalva AQ è uno splendido Borgo fortificato (Frazione di Anversa degli Abruzzi) considerato tra i più Belli d’Italia, costruito su una lunga dorsale rocciosa dominante la Valle del Fiume Sagittario. A 865 m. slm ha una decina di abitanti residenti stabilmente ma molto più popolato durante la stagione estiva. Le case in pietra locale si allineano lungo due vie principali, intervallate da piazzette e terrazzi con straordinarie vedute delle montagne, valli, e fitti boschi circostanti. Presente un albergo/ristorante, un bar/negozio ed alcuni servizi di solito attivi solo il fine settimana. Castrovalva è nota nel mondo per una famosa litografia del 1929 dell’artista olandese Escher che la visitò durante un suo viaggio in Italia. Scendendo a valle è possibile raggiungere a breve distanza i famosi paesi di Anversa degli Abruzzi, Villalago e Scanno ugualmente considerati tra i Borghi più belli d’Italia. Fiumi, laghi, oasi naturali ed anche centri sciistici fanno della zona una delle più interessanti del centro Italia. Autostrada e Stazione Ferroviaria a circa 15’, la città di Pescara con l’aeroporto internazionale e le spiagge del Mare Adriatico a circa 60’, Roma a 90’.
