Torre dei Passeri (PE) is a town of 3200 inhab. 172 m above sea level in the Valpescara, dominated by the Gizzi Castle and near the ancient Abbey of S. Clemente a Casauria. The town is surrounded by hills and mountains, in a privileged position, about 30 ‘from the sea (Pescara) and 30′-40’ from the major ski centers of Abruzzo. There are numerous shops, bars, restaurants, schools, banks, green areas and high-level sports facilities. Excellent connections by train (Pescara-Rome), A25 motorway and bus lines to the major cities of the Region and also directly to Rome and the international airports of Fiumicino, Ciampino and Pescara.
