Corvara is a town of about 260 inhabitants at 625 m s.l.m. in Pescara province, which is about 50 km. The old village consists mainly of stone houses “pagliare” built on rock, after being almost totally abandoned in the last century, has been recovered recently and also developed being in the territory next to the Gran Sasso National Park. Currently the majority of inhabitants live in the new town in the valley with the town hall and several Districts. In the area there is some restaurant and farm. There are bus connections with neighboring Centers, the highway and the train station are about 15 km (Torre dei Passeri), the city of Pescara with the airport and the beaches of the Adriatic Sea is at 50 km.

Casa di due livelli arredata ed abitabile (110 mq.l.) con 2 camere da letto, 2 camerette e 2 bagni, annessi magazzino, forno, e piccolo giardino; sono inclusi nella vendita anche un rustico da ristrutturare (circa 50 mq.) a livello superiore con un cortile pavimentato. La casa si sviluppa lungo un pendio roccioso all’inizio della via principale nella parte inferiore del borgo, risulta libera su tre lati e gode di splendido panorama fino al mare. La proprietà è totalmente recintata e i due livelli hanno ingressi autonomi ma sono comunque collegati da una scala interna a chiocciola o da una esterna in muratura. L’ingresso inferiore, preceduto da un cortile, immette in un piccolo atrio con un bagno di servizio, segue quindi un soggiorno con termo-camino a legna, una cucina abitabile totalmente attrezzata ed una cameretta. Il secondo livello si raggiunge tramite la scala interna o direttamente dall’esterno ed è organizzato in due camere da letto (una con balcone panoramico), una cameretta ed un secondo bagno con doccia. Il tetto della casa è in buone condizioni. Il riscaldamento è a gas metano con radiatori a parete e caldaia che produce anche l’acqua calda sanitaria, oppure tramite il termo-camino. Corvara è un Comune di circa 260 abitanti a 625 m s.l.m. in Prov. di Pescara da cui dista circa 50 km. Il Borgo antico è costituito soprattutto di case in pietra realizzate sulla roccia “pagliare”, dopo essere stato quasi totalmente abbandonato nel secolo scorso, è stato oggetto negli ultimi anni di recupero e valorizzazione essendo anche in territorio prossimo al Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso. Attualmente la maggior parte degli abitanti risiede nel nuovo abitato a valle con la sede del Comune e nelle numerose Contrade. In zona è presente qualche ristorante e degli agriturismo. Esistono collegamenti autobus con i Centri vicini, l’autostrada e la stazione ferroviaria sono a circa 15 km (Torre dei Passeri), la città di Pescara con l’aeroporto e le spiagge del Mare Adriatico a 50 km.
